Cloud Storage Manager Editions

Are you looking for an efficient and reliable tool to manage your Azure Storage? Cloud Storage Manager offers three editions that cater to different business needs: Lite, Advanced, and Enterprise. Read on to learn about the features of each edition and decide which one suits your business requirements best.

What are the Different Editions of Cloud Storage Manager?

Lite Edition

The Lite Edition is perfect for small or personal environments that typically have three or fewer Azure Subscriptions and consume less than 30TB of Azure Blob Storage. This edition provides users with the basic functions needed for efficient storage management. With the Lite Edition, you can automate and schedule scans, view information on your Azure Subscriptions, Storage Accounts, Containers, Azure Files, Blobs, and Virtual Machine Storage. Additionally, you can view charts and run reports to gain insights into your Azure Storage.

The Lite Edition is free, unless your Azure Storage goes over 30TB.

Advanced Edition

The Advanced Edition is designed for medium-sized environments that usually consist of fewer than five Azure Subscriptions. This edition offers all the features of the Lite Edition and more. The Advanced Edition provides you with the ability to view an Azure Map Overview and access Database Size Limitations. With the Advanced Edition, the maximum Azure Storage is limited to 1PB.

The Advanced Edition costs $500 USD per year and includes updates and support.

Enterprise Edition

The Enterprise Edition is for use in large environments that typically have more than ten Subscriptions and consume more than 1PB of Azure Blob Storage. This edition offers unlimited Azure Storage and all the features of the Lite and Advanced Editions.

The Enterprise Edition costs $1000 USD per year and includes updates and support.

Licensing

Cloud Storage Manager is licensed based on the size of your Azure Subscriptions, Azure Storage Accounts, Containers, and each Blob. To find the expected size of your database, run the trial of Cloud Storage Manager and view licensing in the Help Menu.

Edition Limitations

Maximum Azure Storage limited to 30TB.

Typically for small or personal environments usually consisting of 3 or less Azure Subscriptions and consuming under 30TB of Azure Blob Storage. 

 

Maximum Azure Storage limited to 1PB

For medium sized environments typically consisting of less than 5 Azure Subscriptions.

 

Unlimited Azure Storage.

For use in large environments typically consisting of more than 10 Subscriptions and consuming more than 1PB of Azure Blob Storage.

 

Cost

Free Forever (until your Azure storage goes over 30TB).

Yearly license subscription of $500 USD per year which includes updates and support.

Yearly license subscription of $1000 USD per year which includes updates and support.
